EVE Energy and Germany's KBS sign strategic supply contract for cylindrical cells

On April 10, Huizhou EVE Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "EVE Energy") and KION Battery Systems GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "KBS") officially signed a strategic cell sourcing frame contract. The two parties will focus on the large-scale application of cylindrical battery cells in the European logistics vehicle sector, accelerating the zero-carbon transition in European industrial transportation scenarios and jointly building a sustainable energy value chain. 

As a joint venture between KION Group, one of the world’s leading providers of industrial trucks and supply chain solutions, and global battery system integrator BMZ Holding, KBS leverages its precision manufacturing processes and German safety standards to continuously provide high-end lithium-ion battery system solutions for the European industrial vehicle market. Its products are renowned for their technological advancement, system safety, and environmental adaptability, making KBS a key driver in the electrification transformation of logistics equipment in Europe and North America. 

EVE Energy, as an innovative full-scenario lithium battery platform enterprise, offers diversified lithium battery technology routes and full-scenario lithium battery product applications to global customers through its three-dimensional network of "global manufacturing, global delivery, and global service." The company has established 13 production bases across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, building a complete R&D system from material innovation to system integration. Its cylindrical battery cells, with their high energy density, long cycle life, and adaptability across all temperature ranges, can significantly enhance the range and operational efficiency of logistics vehicles, providing clean energy support for scenarios such as European port transportation and warehousing logistics. 

Under the agreement, EVE Energy will leverage its strong R&D capabilities and technological advantages to supply cylindrical battery cell solutions tailored to the needs of KBS battery systems for logistics vehicles. This partnership not only strengthens EVE Energy's localized supply capabilities in Europe but also opens a green channel for its products to enter the high-end European industrial vehicle market through mutual recognition of technical standards. 

Christian Hasenstab, Co-Managing Director of KBS, and Xie Jiaqi, Head of EVE Energy’s Europe-America Regional Sales, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Key attendees included Wolfgang Klüpfel, Co-Managing Director of KBS, Zhao Jian, General Manager of EVE Energy’s V-Cylindrical Battery Sales Center, Zhang Xiaojuan, Sales Director, and Chen Jialing, Sales Manager, who jointly witnessed this milestone moment.

Zhao Jian, General Manager of EVE Energy's V Cylindrical Battery Sales Center, emphasized that this strategic partnership is a key implementation of the company's "CREATE Carbon Neutrality Action Plan." By providing zero-carbon power solutions for high-end European logistics equipment, the two parties will jointly build an industrial ecosystem covering technology R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and circular recycling, promoting full lifecycle carbon footprint management for lithium batteries.  

The establishment of this strategic collaboration marks a new phase for EVE Energy's lithium battery technology in achieving large-scale adoption across European logistics vehicles. By leveraging localized technical adaptation and integrated supply chain systems, EVE Energy's cylindrical battery cells will deliver enhanced energy solutions to accelerate the electrification transformation of Europe's industrial vehicles, while supporting low-carbon sustainable development in the logistics transportation sector.
